Namaste! Myself Charmy and I hail from a world heritage city i.e. Ahmedabad. By profession, I am a social work professional and by passion, I am a lifelong learner. I hold a master\’s degree in social work (MSW). I am the founder of Bhavya’s Joy of Giving, co-founder of Youth Change Organization and Alliance Contriving Transformation (ACT) Foundation, under which I do social activities with my team. I’ve opened Kalam Libraries in all the juvenile homes of Gujarat under the Kalam Library project of Kalam Centre. I’ve worked with the prisoners of Sabarmati Central Jail, fire brigade staff, GVK EMRI 108 Ambulance service staff, mentally challenged kids, elderly people, and children from underprivileged sections and villages. Me and my team provide recording services to visually impaired college students to help them in their studies.
Currently, I am working at Priyanka Jariwala Memorial Foundation (PJMF) as a Program Director and we provide support to needy cancer patients. Some of the projects I work on are financial support services, Manobal-counselling support, CanKids Surat pediatric cancer patients support services and palliative care support services. I am an avid reader and teaholic. My interest areas are women and child development. I hold a Visharad degree in Bharatnatyam. I also visit cancer hospitals and do clowning with pediatric cancer patients. I am fond of meditation and traveling and practice sustainability and minimalism. The kids make me happiest and my dream is to serve my nation and its people till the last breath of my life.
